Inclement Weather Guidance

A5 Family,
Unless you are living under a rock you are aware of the Winter Weather Advisory and the forecast for cold weather and snow tonight.
Sometimes the forecasts are accurate, but many times their predictions of doom and gloom do not materialize. ....and here at A5 we are loathe to cancel practice simply because weather "might" be bad.
So here's what we're going to do about tomorrow: we will assess the situation at 5:30 a.m. and make the call then. If roads near SVC are icy or covered with snow, we will cancel tomorrow's a.m. volleyball activities. If it is just cold and wet, but roads are serviceable, we will have practice and VP as usual. If the roads are sketchy but improving, it is possible that we will cancel a.m. activities and proceed with afternoon clinics and practices. This info will be posted on A5's and A5 South's websites by 6:30 a.m. (GA5 does not have anything scheduled this weekend.)
OF COURSE conditions may vary throughout GMA Atlanta, and if your team's practice is on but you are not comfortable driving from your home to practice, DON'T do so, but DO contact your coach.
