November 27, 2012 - With the completion of the regular season of volleyball in the NCAA, there's a lot to report. Thanks to our intrepid researcher Scott Cioffari for digging all of this stuff up. And congratulations to all of our athletes who are excelling at the Next Level. Your Family is proud of you!

Ashley Neff (2010; 17 Kelly) of FSU was named ACC Player of the Year. She is joined by Georgia Tech's Monique Mead (2009; 18-Bob) on the All-ACC First team.

USF's Delaina Sarden (2011 18 Bob) is first team all-Conference for Conference USA

Gator Betsy Smith (2008; 18-Bob) celebrated her 23rd birthday, by learning that she had made the All-SEC Second Team.

Delaware Frosh Ariel Shonk (2012; 18-Bob) of Delaware ran off with a bevy of honors, including the Colonial Athletic Association All Rookie team, CAA Defensive Player of the Year, and the All-Conference Third Team.

Lauren Hutchinson
(2009; 18-Bob) of Samford was named to the All Southern Conference First Team.

Georgia Southern's Crysten Curry (2012; 18 Bob) was named to SoCon All Freshman Team.

Troy Freshman Blair Winston (2012, 18-Marc) earned 2nd team, All Sun Belt Conference recognition.

A number of alum are tearing it up in the Southern Athletic Association:

(2011, 18-Marc) and now our 11-3 coach was SAA Defensive player of the Year and second team All-SAA

Gretchen Kaufman
(2011; 18-Brittany) of Berry was named honorable mention All-SAA

11-3 Coach McKenna Bondarenko was named first team All-SAA

Anna Marie Disalvo, coach of our 13-Anna Team, was named honorable mention All-SAA

Ali McAlvany (2011; 18-Bob) of Eckerd was was both 1st Team all Sunshine State Conference and 2012 Division II All-Southern Region Team

A5 Volleyball Club: Teaching life lessons through the sport of volleyball.

In 2015 A5 won five of seven available regional championships and this with five of our top teams at home because they had already qualified in the Open Division. Our sister Clubs, A5 Gwinnett and A5 South, won the other two regional championships.
