A5 Europe Diary Entry #7
November 29, 2014 - Today was Day 8!! We met in the lobby for breakfast at 7:45, and left on our trek for Milan at 8:30. From the hotel we took a two hour bus ride to Verona, where we spent the morning. In Verona we saw the Romeo and Juliet balcony, the colosseum, and got to shop! We ate lunch at a very classic Italian restaurant where we ate pizza and pasta! From Verona we took a two hour bus ride to Milan. When we got to Milan we checked into our hotel, and then had time to get settled before we began preparing to play. At six, we started warming up for our final international match! Today we played the Italian Youth National Team. They were all tall and really really good players. We held our own though!! We played some really tight sets, and almost won a couple! When our team got back to the hotel we had a great pasta dinner, and then headed to bed! We are excited to spend time tomorrow exploring Milan!
