March 4, 2013 - For the last several years your Board has recognized the need to update our website(s), and this year, under the leadership of A5 11-1 Coach Walter Patterson and his firm, Cool Dog Interactive, we have succeeded in that goal. We flipped the switch last night, but it could take up to a day before you are able to access the new website.
The new site features real-time score reporting, news, and events, and the ability to submit photos directly to the club for use on the website, and the responsive design works well on tablets and smartphones. The tweeting of scores that has proven so popular with our membership is now automated, such that scores that are sent in by our Texting Team (now called "Score Reporters") will be sent out to Followers without delay (beginning this weekend). But we will still look forward to the color added by Tweetmeister Kurt Hoyt in his personal tweets and weekend summaries (though it is possible that they will be late or non-existent this coming weekend owing to Kurt's travel abroad). Score Reporters, be looking for an instructional email sent separately; you'll be given a few days to practice before reporting for the record this coming weekend.
It is likely that you will notice errors or glitches in the website during its first few weeks of operation, in which event we ask that you email email@example.com. (Please, for Walter's sake, restrict your communications to obvious boo boos rather than design suggestions.) Once we're satisfied with the status of A5's website, we'll move on to Phase II and also turn our attention to the Sisters.
