Day 1: Europe 2016

November 18, 2016 - Our long journey started at the Atlanta airport when we all met at 2:30. From there we went through security, making our flight just in time. The flight was about 10 hours and most people slept the whole time or watched the movies provided.

Soon enough we landed in Paris, France. We had about 20 minutes to get food and stretch, then we had to board our next flight to Berlin, Germany. Once we landed in Germany we took a bus to our hotel and got our rooming assignments and dropped our stuff off. For lunch for walked to the mall and all got to chose out of the restaurants there. Tatum and I got Subway since we aren't quite ready for the lamb sandwiches that the German culture holds.

After about an hour we walked back to the hotel and got ready for practice. For practice we went to one of the many Olympic facilities that Germany has. We practiced for about an hour and a half and then finished up by watching a German boys team play and to say the least we were impressed:) After we ate dinner at the facility and then went back to the hotel. We are excited to sight see around Berlin tomorrow and get to experience the culture of Germany!
