A5 Takes on the U.S. Army

May 18, 2017 -

Well, sort of.  The U.S. Women's All Army Volleyball team passed through Atlanta en route to the World Military Championships in Florida next month, where they will take on teams from Canada, China, German and France.  They were looking for a little competition along the way, and who better to call than A5?.

The All Army team is comprised of active duty soldiers. The objectives of Armed Forces Sports are to promote goodwill and a positive image of the Armed Service; provide incentive and encouragement of physical fitness through competitive sports; provide a venue for military athletes to participate in national and international competitions; and to engage in valuable military-to-military opportunities with member nations through sport.  Lastly, AFS program directly contributes to the recruitment, retention, and readiness of Service members.

A5 15 Boba and A5 16 Gabe gave these ladies all they could handle, helping to prepare them for the international competition to come.

Go Army!  Beat Navy!  (Apologies to any Squids who might be reading this, but I couldn't help myself.)
