March 7, 2018 - We are proud of the fact that our athletes are not only earning the opportunity to play at the Next Level; they are excelling once they get there. From March 2-4, 2018, some 240 athletes from 89 colleges converged on Colorado Springs with hopes of earning a spot on one of the U.S. Women's National Team Programs. Athletes were bidding for spots not only on the Women's National Team gym, but also positions on the U.S. Collegiate National Team Programs, both domestic and international.

The breakdown by position includes: 48 liberos, 50 middles, 62 outsides, 31 opposites, and 43 setters. Each athlete had one tryout session on Friday, one morning and afternoon session on Saturday, and one morning session on Sunday. Three-time Olympic gold medalist and U.S. Olympic Hall of Famer Karch Kiraly and the U.S. Women's National Team staff are in charge of the tryout process.
