A5 Names Bob Westbrook 151 Head Coach!

July 16, 2018 - A5 is excited to announce that Bob Westbrook will be the head coach of 151 for the 2018-2019 season. Bob Westbrook – widely seen as the founder of volleyball in the state of Georgia – will be leading A5’s 151 team in the 2018-19 season.  As the Founder of A5 Bob has done it all, from D1 Head Coach at the University of Florida, to helping start the highly successful Front Range Volleyball Club in Denver, Colorado.  At the club level, Bob has amassed a number of qualifier and Nationals medals in the 18’s age group, including the USAV National Division Gold Medal in 2008. 
JJ Boyte will be assiting Bob this year with the 151 team.  JJ is entering his 8th season coaching club volleyball. This tenure includes 18 months as Volunteer Assistant with the Anderson University Women’s Volleyball program in 2012-2013. Since moving to Atlanta in 2015, JJ has logged thousands of hours of training in the A5/VolleyPerformance gym. He has a passion for finding and developing athletes at all levels. JJ spent the last three years as Head Coach of A5 15-2 team, compiling a 217-64 record with 3 Qualifier Medals and 7 tournament championships.

A5 Volleyball Club: Teaching life lessons through the sport of volleyball.

In 2015, each one of our 1 teams qualified for USAV Nationals at the highest competitive level offered (Open for 13s and above and National for 12s)an accomplishment replicated by only one other club in the country.
