A5 TEAMS EXCEL IN FIRST TOURNAMENTS OF THE SEASON

A5 Family,
Players - coaches - parents - all were itching to get into the gym with uniforms on and officials in place to test their mettle on the first tournament of the 2019 season. For us, the focus was not as much on winning the tournament as it was getting quality matches to allow the testing of different rotations and determining what the teams and the athletes need to work on in the gym.
As we have stated many times in this Newsletter and elsewhere, we are much more concerned with end-of-the-season results than we are January's. That said, I was proud of how our teams competed and many did win championships while playing up one or two age brackets. They are profiled in our Champions' Salute below. Congrats to all.
Volunteer Needed
We are in need of an A5 mom or dad who would like to assist with an important project. Preferably someone who at least a couple of years of A5 experience.
