Haley started playing A5 when she was 10 years old. She was on the 12-5 team as a libero her first year. Bob told her that since she was left handed she had to be a setter, so that entire summer she trained at Volley Performance for 5 hours every Saturday and Sunday, as well as Monday nights doing countless hours of the Long Beach Setting Series to improve her skills. The next year she made the 12-1 team as the starting setter. Throughout the rest of her years at A5, she was the starting setter on every 1's team. During Haley’s freshman year of high school, she verbally committed to the University of Miami. At Miami, Haley was the starting setter for her entire career. Haley was a triple major in undergrad in Finance, Economics, and Management. She was ACC Freshman of the Year, and was named to be on the All-ACC Volleyball Team and All-ACC Academic team each year. In summer 2018, Haley was selected to participate on the USA National Team in Detroit. In her final year at Miami, she got a Masters in International Business Studies and is currently completing her MBA. Haley is fulfilling her dream of playing professional volleyball and has signed to play for Slavia EU Bratislava in Bratislava, Slovakia for the 2019-2020 season. Slavia has won the Slovakian league the last 4 years, and has competed in the Mevza Cup and EuroCup those years as well.
Haley shares, "I am super excited about the opportunity to expand my volleyball knowledge and immerse myself in the European culture. I can never thank A5 and particularly Bob Westbrook enough for all they have done for me to make this dream of mine to play professional volleyball come true.”
