Tryouts yield a record number of teams

94 indoor teams across A5 and sister clubs

December 9, 2020 - Tryouts are officially over, and it was exciting to see the amazing talent on display which made the process of forming teams more challenging and stressful than ever before. The number of girls vying for a spot on a team has increased dramatically due to the drop in clubs open for training and competing in this area. It's clear to us that the interest in the game is also growing as players are crossing over from other sports and training harder than ever before to compete at the highest level.
    
Our picture of the 2020-2021 A5 Family of Teams is now complete. A5 is alive and ready to take on the new season! A staggering total of ninety-three A5 indoor volleyball teams - eighty-nine girls indoor teams and four indoor boys teams and sixty Beach players will be wearing the coveted A5 jersey. Along with their coaches, these athletes will log thousands of practice hours in their facilities and compete in hundreds of tournaments nationwide over the course of the new club year. We are excited to see our returning players and families, and extend a special welcome to families and athletesd new to our clubs. Being a part A5 means being a part one of the elite volleyball clubs in the county!

The development of a player's potential is the highest honor entrusted to us and we pledge to do our best to give our players our best. In this new season, with renewed appreciation for the game after the loss of last season, we will focus, work hard, have fun, execute sportsmanship, build teamwork, honor and character and when this is given combined with the intricate technical aspects of the game to our athletes, they indeed will write history. We are prouder than ever before to begin another incredible club chapter and we intend to make the most of it!
