Pro-Team coming to Atlanta

March 13, 2023 - We are excited to share that we have signed superstar athlete Haleigh Washigton to our pro-league
roster! Haleigh, who has been an instrumental advocate of LOVB since the very beginning, will join our
ever-growing slate of remarkable talent like Kelsey Robinson and Justine Wong-Orantes, as we prepare to
launch our pre-season after the Paris Olympics in 2024.

But, that’s not all. Complementing our latest signing, we have also announced that Houston, Texas and
Atlanta, Georgia will be our first two pro-team locations. With a number of viable markets in the running,
we examined everything from the level of women’s volleyball fandom in the area, to current volleyball
spectatorship, ease of travel and proximity to airports, availability of arenas and more.

However, ultimately, our decision became easy due to our clubs. By strategically tying our pro teams to
our top clubs in the nation like A5, GA Beach, and Houston Skyline, LOVB will be able to build an
ecosystem of fandom from the start as our pro players become even more familiar and accessible to club
players and the community at large.
