Tryout Information - General
Tryout Dates by Age Eligibility for 2018-2019:
USA Volleyball requires that you be a particular age for the duration of the season, which is assumed to end on August 31, even though tournament play, regionals, and nationals are all complete before that date. So for the upcoming 2018-2019 season, your USAV age is the age you will be on August 31, 2019.10 & Under - must be born on or after Sept. 1, 2008 (still 10 on Aug. 31, 2019)
11 & Under - must be born on or after Sept. 1, 2007 (still 11 on Aug. 31, 2019)
12 & Under - must be born on or after Sept. 1, 2006 (still 12 on Aug. 31, 2019)
13 & Under - must be born on or after Sept. 1, 2005 (still 13 on Aug. 31, 2019)
14 & Under - must be born on or after Sept. 1, 2004 (still 14 on Aug. 31, 2019)
15 & Under - must be born on or after Sept. 1, 2003 (still 15 on Aug. 31, 2019)
16 & Under - must be born on or after Sept. 1, 2002 (still 16 on Aug. 31, 2019)
17 & Under - must be born on or after Sept. 1, 2001 (still 17 on Aug. 31, 2019)
18 & Under - must be born on or after Sept. 1, 2000 (still 18 on Aug. 31, 2019)
Tryout Times and Locations
10 & Under (Born on or after Sept. 1, 2008 or still age 10 or younger on August 31, 2019)Tryout Date/Time: October 14, 2018 (Sunday); 2:00-5:00pm. Check-in desk will open at 1:00pm.
Tryout Location: The Cooler (Alpharetta Family Skate Center) - 10800 Davis Drive, Alpharetta 30009
Tryout Fee: $40
After registering your athlete for tryouts, please update your athlete's information from your profile page and upload a headshot photo for each player. This is extremely helpful to our club for tryouts.
