Tryout Information - General
Online Tryout registraion is now closed. We will take walk-up's for all tryouts.NEW: This year A5 will be forming additional teams in the 13’s and 14’s age groups! Many have expressed their interest in playing with A5 regardless of the team they might make. In order to facilitate this, we will have an additional tryout for all 13’s and 14’s not making teams in the initial tryout – or those players visiting other clubs who’d like to give A5 a shot - on Tuesday 6:00pm, October 15 at the SVC. This tryout would also be open to 12U players that might have missed the first tryout.
Tryout Dates by Age Eligibility for 2019-2020:
USA Volleyball requires that you be a particular age for the duration of the season, which is assumed to end on August 31, even though tournament play, regionals, and nationals are all complete before that date. So for the upcoming 2019-20 season, your USAV age is the age you will be on August 31, 2019.9 & Under - must be born on or after Sept. 1, 2010 (still 10 on Aug. 31, 2020)
10 & Under - must be born on or after Sept. 1, 2009 (still 10 on Aug. 31, 2020)
11 & Under - must be born on or after Sept. 1, 2008 (still 11 on Aug. 31, 2020)
12 & Under - must be born on or after Sept. 1, 2007 (still 12 on Aug. 31, 2020)
13 & Under - must be born on or after Sept. 1, 2006 (still 13 on Aug. 31, 2020)
14 & Under - must be born on or after Sept. 1, 2005 (still 14 on Aug. 31, 2020)
15 & Under - must be born on or after Sept. 1, 2004 (still 15 on Aug. 31, 2020)
16 & Under - must be born on or after Sept. 1, 2003 (still 16 on Aug. 31, 2020)
17 & Under - must be born on or after Sept. 1, 2002 (still 17 on Aug. 31, 2020)
18 & Under - must be born on or after Sept. 1, 2001 (still 18 on Aug. 31, 2020)

After registering your athlete for tryouts, please update your athlete's information from your profile page and upload a headshot photo for each player. This is extremely helpful to our club for tryouts.
