Come play volleyball with A5! Ranked #1 in the southeast and #2 in the nation, our dynamic training system, with exceptional systems and coaches, produces high-end competitive teams.
All those camps and clinics are great - but this is the real thing - playing on an A5 club team, wearing the A5 uniform, bonding with teammates, and experiencing real match play. Over the course of a whole season, athletes get so much instruction and experience with match and tournament play, that playing on a club team is actually a great value considering the number of contact hours. There's just no substitute for the experience and FUN of a season of club volleyball!
The registration fee includes an A5 T-shirt. Of course the further in advance you register, the more it helps the club plan for tryouts.
After signing in as a registered user (or creating an account if you are a new user), you can add your dependent athlete to your profile and then register them for tryouts.
We ask that when you come to the gym, you have a plan in mind, having done your research, knowing in advance if A5 is the club for you. Our goal is to leave the gym with our teams in place - teams comprised of athletes committed to excellence who want to be with A5, and families who are excited to be a part of the best coaching and top to bottom training regimen in the country.
NEW THIS YEAR
USA Volleyball requires that each athlete register within their region - our region's governing body is the Southern Region Volleyball Association, or SRVA. Prior to tryouts, you must register on the SRVA website and pay a $10.00 tryout registration fee that will turn into a full-year USAV membership once your athlete is placed on a team. Registration on the SRVA/USAV website will not open until Sept 12th at the earliest. The region ask that parents and families be patient with this process. Should you have any questions in regards to this requirement please contact us.
PLEASE NOTE
Please bring your completed USAV Medical Form and SRVA Membership Form. SRVA REGISTRATION will open in mid-September. No refunds inside 96 hours.
WHAT TO BRING
At tryouts, you will need to bring a copy of the USAV Medical Form filled out. You will also need to pre-register with the SRVA region, as outlined above. Athletes should wear comfortable athletic attire including athletic shoes. Volleyball-specific attire is not required, and athletes will be given a T-shirt to wear during tryouts. Kneepads are optional but most athletes prefer to wear them. Each athlete should also have plenty of water in a sealable water jug or bottle, labeled with their name.

Tryout Information:
Tryout Times and Date: Sunday, Oct 10, 2021, from 5pm to 8pm
Tryout Location: A5 Sportsplex (11000 Alpharetta Highway, Roswell GA 30076)
Check-in Desk will open 1 hour prior to the start of the tryout.
Tryout Eglibility:
Once a player participates (including but not limited to practicing, training, attending workouts and/or competing) in a club or varsity program for any university, college, community college, or junior college, he/she is ineligible to take part in any regional and national programming, which includes but is not limited to national JNC qualifying and championship events.
18 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2003 OR Players who were born on or after July 1, 2002 and a high school student in the twelfth (12th) grade or below during some part of the current academic year
17 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2004
16 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2005
15 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2006
14 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2007
Boys 14 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2006 (15 years or younger) who shall neither have completed nor are in a grade higher than the eighth grade (8th) during the current academic year will be allowed to participate at the USA Junior National Championships on 14 and under teams. This age waiver is still subject to frozen roster rules. (This exception is based on the net height difference of 7’4 1/8” to 7’ 11 5/8” between the 14 and Under Division to the 15 and Under Division.)
13 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2008
Boys 13 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2007 (14 years or younger) who shall neither have completed nor are in a grade higher than the seventh grade (7th) during the current academic year are eligible for a Region approved waiver to compete in the boys 13’s age group. This age waiver is still subject to frozen roster rules.
12 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2009
Boys 12 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2008 (13 years or younger) who shall neither have completed nor are in a grade higher than the sixth grade (6th) during the current academic year are eligible for a Region approved waiver to compete in the boys 12’s age group. This age waiver is still subject to frozen roster rules.
11 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2010
10 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2011
9 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2012
8 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2013
