2022-2023 REGIONAL Girls Tryouts 12's/11's/10's/Younger

Come play volleyball with A5 Volleyball Club, ranked #1 in the southeast and #2 in the nation! Our dynamic training system, with exceptional systems and coaches, produces high-end competitive teams that compete on a local, regional, and national level.
All those camps and clinics are great, but this is the real thing: playing on an A5 club team, wearing the A5 uniform, bonding with teammates, and experiencing real match play. Over the course of a whole season, athletes get so much instruction and experience with match and tournament play, that playing on a club team is actually a great value considering the number of contact hours. There's just no substitute for the experience and FUN of a season of club volleyball!
For our age 12-and-under athletes, depending on the number of players trying out, our goal is to place everyone on a team. Tryouts is an opportunity for our club to evaluate athletes for placement on the team where they will get the instruction they need. Teams will be formed immediately after tryouts with no cuts. It is required that each athlete have a parent attend tryouts.
We ask that when you come to the gym, you have a plan in mind, having done your research, and knowing in advance if A5 is the club for you. Our goal is to leave the gym with our teams in place - teams comprised of athletes committed to excellence who want to be with A5 and families who are excited to be a part of the best coaching and top-to-bottom training regimen in the country.
The registration fee includes an A5 T-shirt which will be given out on the day of tryouts. Of course, the further in advance you register, the more it helps the club plan for tryouts.
After signing in as a registered user (or creating an account if you are a new user), you can add your dependent athlete to your profile and then register them for tryouts. Please do not create a new account if you have created an account in the past.
SRVA SIGN UP
USA Volleyball requires that each athlete register within their region - our region's governing body is the Southern Region Volleyball Association, or SRVA. Prior to tryouts, you must register on the SRVA.org website and pay a $10 tryout registration fee that will turn into a full-year USAV membership once your athlete is placed on a team. Registration on the SRVA/USAV website will not open until Sept 12th at the earliest. The region asks that parents and families be patient with this process. PLEASE NOTE
Please bring your completed USAV Medical Form and SRVA Membership Form to tryouts. SRVA REGISTRATION will open in mid-September. No refunds will be given inside 96 hours.
WHAT TO BRING
At tryouts, you will need to bring a copy of the USAV Medical Form filled out. You will also need to pre-register with SRVA.org, as outlined above. Athletes should wear comfortable athletic attire including athletic shoes. Volleyball-specific attire is not required, and athletes will be given an A5 T-shirt to wear during tryouts. Kneepads are optional but most athletes prefer to wear them. Each athlete should also have plenty of water in a sealable water jug or bottle, labeled with their name.
TRYOUT ELIGIBILITY AGE FOR 2022-2023:
Please note that when you sign into the A5 website, your athlete's correct tryout eligibility age (USAV age) is displayed next to their name under your profile. Please ensure that you register for the correct tryout age.
12 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2010
11 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2011
10 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2012
