Boys Beach Academy

The Boys Beach Academy is an 8 week program designed to introduce boys to the game of beach volleyball. The program will start on September 15th and will run through November 3rd. Practices will be Thursdays, 6-8pm at Alpharetta Beach.
The Boys Beach Academy is lead by Coach Marc Moody:
- Played Division 1 Men's Volleyball for Long Beach State University
- 2018 & 2019 NCAA National Champion
- 2022 NCAA Tournament Finalist
- 4 years experience coaching high level boys volleyball
Over the course of the program athletes will learn:
- Proper warm-up
- Movement in the sand
- How to approach & jump in the sand
- Blocking techniques specific to beach volleyball
- Basic mechanics and fundamentals
- Ball control, form & technique
- Strategies for game play/ skill sets unique to beach volleyball
- Form potential partner pairings for future tournaments
No experience required to participate in the Boys Beach Academy.
