New A5 Beach Director: Ali McColloch

We would like to introduce A5 Beach's newest director, Ali McColloch!
Ali McColloch is a former Big West Conference Freshman of the Year and has been a professional player for the past decade. She was the inaugural head coach for the UC Davis Beach Women's colligate program where she brought the aggies into the top 21 in just 4 years. Prior to UC Davis, she coached at Sunshine, Wave Volleyball Club, Viper VBC, and now A5.
McColloch made her collegiate debut at Long Beach State and then competed at UCLA, earning All-Pac-10 Conference honorable mention (2007). She capped her career with a selection to the 2008 NCAA Austin Regional all-tournament team.
Her professional career began with Las Caribes in Puerto Rico, but soon she found her way to beach volleyball in 2012. McColloch has many achievements and top finishes from the AVP Pro Beach Tour, as well as two NORCECA wins in 2016. During her pro career, McColloch earned her bachelor's degree in sociology at UCLA, her paralegal certificate in 2017, and is now married to Kevin McColloch and a mother to two – Scout and Dash.
